Summary


In this lesson, we talked about managing and maintaining an AlwaysOn Availability group. The lesson covered automatic failover and manual failover with and without data loss. We saw how to perform a number of maintenance and management tasks related to an AlwaysOn AG. We saw how to monitor an AlwaysOn AG, and finally we looked at common AlwaysOn problems and their solutions.

In the next lesson, we'll learn how to use log shipping as a disaster recovery solution.
