Creating a Virtual Reality project

In Chapter 01Getting Started with Adobe Captivate 2019, you experienced a completed VR project. In this chapter, you will learn how to create this project yourself. The first step is to create a new VR project in Adobe Captivate 2019:

  1. Open Adobe Captivate 2019, or close any open file, so you see the Welcome screen.
  2. On the Welcome Screen, under New tab, double-click Virtual Reality Project. You can also use the File | New Project | Virtual Reality Project menu item to perform the same action.

This creates a new VR project for you. After a few seconds, you will see the familiar Captivate interface, but on the stage, you will find a 360o placeholder image. Before learning about 360 images and videos, let's make a quick tour of the Captivate interface when a VR project is open.

  1. Take a look at the Toolbar at the top of the screen and try to spot the differences between the Toolbar of a VR project and the regular Toolbar...
