Variables and Advanced Actions

Extra credit – Adding another display text Hotspot

In this extra credit section, you will repeat the sequence of actions of the previous section to add a second text Hotspot to your 360 slide. Click and drag the 360 background image to the right to bring the right side of the balcony into focus. You need to add the Seasons hotspot to the top-right corner of the balcony and display a text caption upon clicking that Hotspot.

These are the general steps to follow:

  1. Add a custom hotspot, using Seasons.png image.
  2. Apply the Display Text action.
  3. Copy and paste the text from the Text.txt file to the Text field in Captivate.
  4. Change the Display Duration to 12 seconds.

Don't hesitate to use the Preview icon to test the new Hotspot before moving on to the next section.
