Live Device Preview

When developing responsive or VR courses, it is important to experience your eLearning content directly on a mobile device. This allows you to test the touch interactions of a responsive project or to preview a VR project using a real VR device. You can use the live preview feature in Adobe Captivate to generate a QR code that you can scan using a mobile device and mirror the project in real-time on your device browser.

Once the initial connection is done, you can keep previewing all your work across projects as long as the Adobe Captivate session is active. Use the following steps to preview your VR project on your mobile device:

  1. Make sure you are still in the Chapter11/VR_project.cptx file.
  2. On the Toolbar, click Preview | Live Preview on Devices.
  1. This generates a QR Code for you in a browser.
  2. Scan the code on your device to see the preview. Make sure your computer and the mobile device are on the same Wi-Fi network.
