Variables and Advanced Actions

Reusing the Shared Action

All you need to do now is attach the same Shared Action to the On Success event of the other Buttons on slide 13. For each Button, the same Shared Action will be executed but using different parameters. These are the general steps to follow:

  • Select the Button associated with one of the remaining ticket types.
  • In the Actions tab of the Properties inspector, attach the viewTicketType Shared Action to the On Success event of the selected Button.
  • Click the {P} icon and choose the parameters pertaining to the selected Button.
  • When you are done, use the Project | Next 5 slides icon on the Toolbar to test your sequence and make sure you jump to the correct slide when clicking the Buttons.
