Exporting a style

Exporting styles is another feature offered by the Object Style Manager. Let's experiment with this capability using the following steps:

  1. Still in the Chapter06/styles.cptx file, use the Edit | Object Style Manager or the Shift + F7 (Windows) or shiftF7 (Mac) shortcut to reopen the Object Style Manager.
  2. In the left column, select the Standard Objects | Smart Shape | Title object.
  3. In the middle column, select the DiDaXo-SlideTitle style.
  4. At the bottom of the Object Style Manager, click the Export button.
  1. Save the style as Chapter06/DiDaXo-SlideTitle.cps.
  2. Click the OK button to acknowledge the successful export.
  3. Click OK to close the Object Style Manager.
  4. Save the Chapter06/styles.cptx file.

Exporting a style creates a .cps file. This file will be used to import the style in another project.
