Setting up the project-level reporting options

Now that you have decided which interactions will be included in the Quiz and reported to the LMS, it's time to focus on project level reporting options. This is where you configure the global settings used to report the data to the LMS.

Before putting in all this effort, it is important to check with your LMS vendor what level of information your LMS can receive and what is the standard (SCORM, AICC, or xAPI) that your LMS supports. In this exercise, you will report the data to a Moodle LMS. A quick look at the Moodle documentation (https://docs.moodle.org/en/SCORM_FAQ#Supported_Versions) tells you that Moodle is SCORM 1.2 compliant.

Perform the following steps to create a SCORM 1.2 package that can be integrated into Moodle:

  1. If needed, return to the Chapter07/takeTheTrain.cptx file.
  2. Use the Quiz | Quiz Preferences menu item to open the Preferences dialog.
  3. In the left side of the Preferences dialog, make sure you are on the Reporting...
