Query strings and data filtering
Using query strings with TypeScript and Express.js is definitely an easy thing to do. Let's say that we would like to get the order inventory from orders that have the status of Placed. We could simply add the status query string onto the URI, for example, http://localhost:3000/store/inventory?status=PLACED, and get the server to handle everything for us.
To do that, we can just change the getInventory function in the src/controllers/order.ts file, like so:
