Technical requirements

To perform the exercises proposed in this chapter, you need to meet the following technical requirements:

  • You need Administrator access to a working Captivate Prime account (which can be a free trial account).
  • Sample files are provided when needed, but you can also choose to use your own files.
  • You need access to a spreadsheet editor (such as Microsoft Excel or Apple Numbers) to edit CSV files.

In this chapter, you will create five new users: three Learners, one Instructor, and one Manager. So, in addition to the aforementioned requirements, you need to create five email addresses: one for each of these future users. You can use any email provider, such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Outlook, and so on. Four of these email addresses will be used to create four different Adobe IDs.

Take the necessary time to create these five email addresses before moving on to the next section.
