Building the Library Collection Page

The first thing to realize about Collection Pages is that Webflow always creates one for us whenever we create a new Collection.

We can see this ourselves by clicking on the Pages menu item on the left of the page. As shown in Figure 11.2, you should see a section at the bottom called CMS Collection pages. Under it, you'll see an entry called Libraries Template. Any Collection we create in the CMS will automatically get its own Template page and you'll see it here. Because we have only one Libraries Collection, we see a corresponding Libraries Template page here:

Go ahead and click on the Libraries Template page.

You'll notice we're presented with a blank page. We'll design our library details page from scratch, and we'll see how this page's design then gets propagated to all the libraries automatically.
