Project overview

One of the most common types of websites available is the marketing landing page. Landing pages are critical in that they usually give viewers their first (and often instant) impression of the subject at hand. The subject can be anything, including a specific person, company, product, or service.

For our first project, we'll be creating one such landing page from scratch. It will be for a fictitious food delivery service and app called SecondPlate. It will showcase the main features of the app and how it provides value to the user. Its primary purpose will be to drive visitors to download the app. This is a modified version of a landing page design that was initially created by Nigerian designer Marvis Dosa.

We'll be referring to a Figma design file to help us define the specifics around the dimensions and properties of the various elements of the page. But note that once we begin building it out in Webflow, we may find ourselves further tweaking the...
