Managing data requests

Users have different options to request information or amendments to their data via their profile menu:

  • Contact the privacy officer (Message)
  • Request a copy of their personal data (Export)
  • Request the deletion of their personal data (Delete)

The following diagram illustrates the workflow of data requests, also known as subject access requests:

To manage all data requests, go to Site administration | Users | Privacy and policies | Data requests, where you see a screen like this:

The message workflow is straightforward: a user contacts the privacy officer via the contact form in their user profile.
