This last plugin is not actually a plugin at all, but really just a theme for WordPress. First released in early 2008, the Market Theme harnesses the power of WordPress' custom fields to great effect. The result is the complete integration of an e-Commerce platform into WordPress, without the need to install a single plugin. They do offer a complementary plugin to help manage products, but it is not required.

No doubt this is an impressive feat, and they charge for it. The Market Theme is the second software package mentioned in this chapter that is commercial-only. There are two license types available: Standard and Developer. A Standard license is currently $55 and allows a single person to build one or more stores across multiple domains, provided they are all in use by that same individual. The Developer license (currently $150) allows for reselling, as is typical when someone builds a store for a client.
