The first thing we need to consider is the current state of our site. Are we happy with the way it looks and runs right now? Naturally, we can continue to make additional changes once the files have been transferred to the production server, but there's no need to complicate what is meant to be a straightforward process. If there are any remaining visual or functional tweaks, go ahead and complete them before uploading your site to the server.
Otherwise, there are only a few quick adjustments we need to make within WordPress before we can upload everything.
