Telling a story with product images


Magento enables you to assign multiple images to a product. On the product page, these images are displayed under MORE VIEWS. In the following screenshot, you can see that the coffee press has a main image and an additional image:

When a shopper double-clicks the main image, or clicks an image under MORE VIEWS, a pop-up window displays the image. Notice that the window has a Next >> link, which takes the shopper to the next image:

Giving your shoppers multiple images for a product is almost always good. Telling a story with those images can be even better. To tell a story with product images, you will need to:

  1. 1. Create multiple images that are designed to tell a story.

  2. 2. Upload the images to Magento.

  3. 3. Tell Magento the order in which to display the images.

  4. 4. Add a title for each image.
