Time for action—Changing the color and text of the menu bar


You may want to have a different background color on the module bar.

  1. Go to the img folder in the modules directory (wiznav/img).

  2. Edit or replace the following images:

    • blank.gif

    • blank_over.gif

    • blank_overa.gif

    • blanka.gif

    • blankbg.gif

  3. The default color is of a bluish tone. So replace it if you prefer.

Another way to change the look of the menu bar is to change the text color.

  1. To change the color of the text, open the wiznav.css file at wiznav/css/wiznav.css.

  2. Look for the following items that you may want change. For example, text color, font type, and size.

    #nav li a.top_link {display:block; float:left; height:36px; line-height:27px; color:#ccc; text-decoration:none; font-size:13px; font-weight:bold; padding:0 0 0 6px; cursor:pointer;background: url(../img/blank.gif);}
  3. Edit them according to the following block of code:
