Importing Scripts in detail


Take me, for example. I'm pretty prolific, always have been. I have a number of decent scripts written in Final Draft. Final Draft is expensive commercial screenwriting software. Final Draft along with Movie Magic, are the "big two" Hollywood-loved scriptwriting programs (albeit Celtx does much more for a whole lot less).

Anyway, I want to move several of these scripts over to Celtx, as it has so many advantages over the high-dollar spreads. One tip I'll share. As Celtx is so good at putting together scripts with catalogs of what's required, schedules, and so on—all contained in a project file—why not offer scripts as a more complete ready-to-film movie package to independent movies producers? The big dogs in Hollywood and Bollywood with their herds of assistants would not be impressed, but Indies always have limited budgets, people, and time.
