Carry out the following steps to add a group:
Log in to concrete5 and go to the Dashboard.
Select Users and Groups in the navigation on the left.
The screen to create new groups is straightforward, as shown in the following screenshot:
Enter a group named
Editorsin the Name field. Click on Add to create the group.Create another group named
Members, which we'll use to manage the users with access to our secret website section.
We created two new groups, which we'll use during the process of building a small community website. One is for the users with access to manage the website content and another is for members who only get access to the normal website view without any access to the dashboard or in-site editing toolbar.
