Your objective in this project is to learn some of the more commonly used news and documentary editing techniques, such as the J-cuts and L-cuts, accomplished with the Extract and Lift function. You'll also look at plundering the Premiere Pro CS6 effects library to simulate a nighttime look and create some camera shakes (yes sometimes camera shakes is a good thing!).
There will be some repetition from previous projects, but this will be presented in a fresh arena in order for you to practice your new skill sets. To make it a little more of a challenge, the keyboard shortcuts and workflows will often just be hinted at, allowing you to raid your gray cells for techniques learned in the previous two projects. Alternatively you may wish to flick back a few pages and revise up on things you have not yet mastered. Either way, by the time you finish this project, your understanding of the Premiere Pro editing workflows should be reaching a higher level.
