This tool displays a clear overview of the structure of the template. It can be accessed via Web | Template and the Template Analyzer option in the drop-down field.
This table displays whether Rootlevel, C. Setup, and C. Const constants have been set, what the page ID is, and at what root level the template is located. If you click on
the template title, CONSTANTS and SETUP are displayed. The content of CONSTANTS, however, only appears if Clear Constants is not enabled in the template.
The Template Analyzer also provides various tools to check the TypoScript code. For example, you can insert line numbers by enabling this in the Linenumbers checkbox and then clicking on the template title. Syntax highlighting can be activated by clicking on the Syntax HL checkbox. This causes objects, properties, etc. to be displayed in different colors for easy recognition.
