This recipe will be of great assistance to you when you have many manufacturers and prefer to display each manufacturer's products in a separate product-listing box. This feature replaces the manufacturers drop-down filter and allows you to show all manufacturers at one glance, easily recognizable by the manufacturer's name at the top of the box. For this module to work, all your products must be assigned to a manufacturer.

You can create a new manufacturer called Other or Uncategorized, and add that via SQL statement in phpMyAdmin to all products that do not have a manufacturer assigned. For multilingual shops, the Store Name may be the best option as manufacturer name is not a language-dependent database entry. This method is explained in the Cooking section.
