The key features of this server include multi-master replication, secure authentication and transport, online, zero downtime, LDAP-based update of schema, configuration, management, and in-tree Access Control Information (ACI) graphical console for all facets of user, group, and server management. The 389 Directory Server offers more features and the Admin console makes it easier to manage the directory server compared to OpenLDAP.
