The ESSAPP application is deployed on the ESS Managed server, which allows us to control the start/stop for a Request process, a Dispatcher, and an Oracle ESS instance. It also provides an interface to view and edit the job definition, search for job requests, purge polices, and so on. We can use the Fusion Middleware control to start/stop an instance and ESS components.
