Tony Dong is a software engineer with focus on distributed systems, data infrastructure, and system architecture. He is currently a platform engineer at TellApart—a predictive marketing platform that allows merchants to target shoppers in an effective way. Tony graduated with distinction from the Honors Computer Engineering Program at the University of Waterloo.

Garrett Edmondson is an independent data science consultant with over 10 years of experience focused on delivering valuable business-oriented intellectual property in the form of data integration and data models for data mining and advanced analytical solutions based on Machine Learning. As a Solutions Architect and developer, he is responsible for all the phases of the software development life cycle.

Juan Carlos González has almost 11 years of experience in the ICT sector. The best thing that defines Juan Carlos in terms of technology is his interest and knowledge of new technologies, which comes to him naturally in terms of attending and solving customers' problems and needs. Juan Carlos' career in the TIC sector, particularly in the .NET platform, started in 2003, just after he finished his studies at the university in the global worldwide consultancy company, Accenture. There, he had the opportunity to work for 3 years on big national and international projects performing different tasks and roles, such as the development of VB.NET applications, application test and deployment, management of small development teams, and so on. In May 2006, he quit Accenture and started a new adventure at the Microsoft Innovation Center in Cantabria (CIIN) as a Solutions Architect. At this new stage, he had the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about a variety of Microsoft technologies, such as SharePoint, Office 365, Windows Azure, Visual Studio, SQL Server, BizTalk Server, LINQ, Entity Framework, and so on. At CIIN, Juan Carlos performed several evangelism activities just around these technologies. He had the honor of belonging to one of the more specialized organizations in SharePoint in Spain.

In October 2013, Juan Carlos joined LKS as a consultant and Solutions Architect, skilled in SharePoint and Office 365 platforms. His daily work in LKS is focused on providing SharePoint and Office 365 advice and consultancy. He is also specialized in training and evangelism with regards to the different projects and LKS customers that he is involved with.

Juan Carlos is a SharePoint Server MVP since 2008. He is also a coordinator of the Cantabria .NET Users Group (Nuberos.NET, http://www.nuberos.es/). Apart from this, Juan Carlos is the co-founder and coordinator of the technology users groups, namely, the SharePoint Users Group of Spain (SUGES, http://www.suges.es/Paginas/Home.aspx), the Cloud Computing Users Group, and the Comunidad de Office 365. He is also the coeditor and director of the free Spanish digital magazine dedicated to SharePoint: CompartiMOSS (http://www.compartimoss.com/). Juan Carlos has co-authored four books and several articles on the SharePoint platform in Spanish and English.

Goh Yong Hwee is a database specialist, systems engineer, developer, and trainer based in Singapore. He is a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Certified Novell Instructor. Some of the courses that he is authorized to deliver and has delivered include Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Exchange Server, and Suse Linux Enterprise Server. Throughout his trainings, he has consistently maintained a "Metrics that Matter" score exceeding 8 out of 10. He has also been instrumental in customizing and reviewing his training center's trainings for its clients. In imparting knowledge, his objective has been making technologies easy and simple for everyone to learn. His no-frills approach towards training has gained him recognitions over the years from both clients and employers, and his clinching of the Best Instructor Award, an accolade conferred by his employer, bears testimony to this fact. He has been in the training industry for 5 years at the time of writing this book and prior to that, he was attached to a Japanese MNC in Singapore as a Systems Analyst specialized in data warehousing on Microsoft SQL Server and RPG programming on the IBM iSeries and BPCS ERP. Over the years, he has chosen to focus his work and specialization on Microsoft SQL Server and is currently in full-time employment with a Fortune 500 company in Singapore—taking up specialist, consultancy, developer, and management roles.

David Loo is a senior software development professional with over 25 years of experience in both software development and people management. He is respected for his ability to motivate his teams to focus on service excellence and design and implement practical process improvements and solutions. David is always on the lookout for ways to contribute his knowledge and experience in the field of software development, team-building, and development best practices.

Richard Louie is a senior Business Intelligence professional with over 20 years of experience in software development and project management. Sivakumar Vellingiri is a Solutions Architect for Business Intelligence & Data Platforms at Wenso Solutions, United Kingdom. During his illustrious career spanning more than 12 years, Sivakumar has been instrumental in giving expertise solutions for Business Intelligence, data architecture, and development of various projects in the domain of BI and Database technologies using MS SQL Server, Oracle, and various database platforms. He has acquired extensive hands-on experience in data mining, data warehousing, and database design, and development by utilizing high-end techniques and best practices to tune and optimize high transaction database systems.
