application that will be our example for the rest of this chapter. The World
application is a simple application which allows users to display country and city information. Although the concept of the World
application is simple, we'll use it to explore steps to create an ASP.NET MVC application which uses RavenDB as a backing store.
Before you begin creating the World
application, you need to ensure that your development environment is properly configured. To begin, you'll need to have Visual Studio 2012 installed.
