In this chapter, we covered RavenDB basic administration functionalities and presented a step-by-step illustration with an overview of how to administer the RavenDB server.
Specifically, we covered the RavenDB configuration options and presented a non-exhaustive list of configuration keys that you may use to configure the RavenDB server.
We presented backup and restore RavenDB functionalities and learned how to export data to use outside RavenDB and how to import data to RavenDB.
Also, we covered RavenDB bundles and how they extend RavenDB server features. We presented the three most-used bundles: the Replication bundle, which is used to replicate RavenDB databases to other databases, the SQL Replication bundle, which is used to replicate a given RavenDB collection to an SQL table, and the Authorization bundle, which is used to secure RavenDB database access.
Finally, we learned how to enable RavenDB logging and how to upgrade a RavenDB server.
