Dynamic graphs occur almost everywhere in our day-to-day lives and hence it becomes very important for a good visualization tool to allow capabilities for studying these graphs. Gephi has some brilliant features for studying various properties of dynamic graphs. To work on this recipe, we will first need to generate a dynamic graph to work on. To do that, follow these steps:
Load Gephi into a blank project mode.
Click on the File option in the menu bar that is located at the top of the Gephi application window. From the drop-down list, select Generate and then Dynamic Graph Example. This generates a new dynamic graph in Gephi.
