Adding additional steps using the canvas

Take a look at the following screenshot. We will work with the steps in this picture to show you how you can edit and add steps to an existing path.

In this process, it is very useful to keep an eye on the receiving element. In the process of assigning a path step to an element, when hovering over this with your mouse, look for the thin blue frame that indicates that this frame is selected.

To learn how to begin creating a path, please read the Setting steps to create a path section and refer to the image in the How to do it… section.

As it is clearly seen in the path lane (thumbnails) and on the canvas (number circles), this prezi has three steps already. Now we want to add more steps.

How to do it…

In this section, we show you how to add steps to an existing path:

  1. Use a prezi that has multiple elements on the canvas as well as an existing path.
  2. Click on Edit Path to switch to path mode.
