The goal of this chapter has been to help you as a technical entrepreneur understand where and how to start using social media, how to measure the impact, and how to make the required tradeoffs between cost and value received. The value of social media extends well beyond marketing, into requirements analysis, product feedback, and customer service.
Yet, don't be convinced that the use of social media supersedes the need for all the traditional business management tactics and requirements. It's just the newest of many elements of building a successful business. In the next chapter, we will take a look at many of these other elements that technical entrepreneurs often overlook.
