Physical Security Tools for Security Assessment
This section may seem a bit out of place with regard to the security controls related to communication and collaboration, but it’s necessary to address an addition made by CompTIA to the latest revision of CASP+ exam topics.
All of the security controls discussed prior to this point have addressed communication and collaboration aspects of the environment. Earlier chapters in this book have the same “select appropriate security controls” coverage as in the exam objectives. For example, Chapter 4 “Host Security” and Chapter 5 “Application Security and Penetration Testing” cover security controls for host devices and software applications, respectively. Obviously, these areas address the strong testing demands of the CASP+ exam.
