About the Author

Edwin Schouten is a Master IT Architect for IBM Global Technology Services. He is a Council Member and the Domain Champion for Cloud Computing in the IBM Benelux Technical Experts Council (TEC).

He has 15 years of experience in IT, holds a Master of Science in IT Architecture, is the Open Group Master Certified IT Architect, IBM Expert Level IT Architect, and IBM Certified Solution Advisor for Cloud Computing Architecture V3.

He is also a frequent speaker/panelist at cloud computing events, active member of Dutch cloud standardization bodies Platform Outsourcing Nederland and NEN, and blogger on his own website, edwinschouten.nl, with featured posts on Wired Insights, The Atlantic, Thoughts on Cloud, and Computable.nl.
