Hudson 3 Essentials
By :
This chapter describes the ways to use Hudson to execute tests and generate and view the test results. These jobs can be scheduled or initiated manually. Testing can be used to generate metrics that can provide insights into the health of a software project. These metrics can be generated from build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle. However, the benefits of generating and storing these reports in Hudson is that they can be generated following a schedule, that they can be made available in a central location (Hudson) to all team members and that team members don't need to install and use a build tool in order to view the latest reports.
To begin our testing and reporting, we will create a new Hudson 3 job.
