In summary, we have seen that the pre-built solutions mainly follow the CMP model of a hybrid cloud, and they may help us build a hybrid cloud faster and operate it better. However, the solution is not without lock-in.
It may be prudent for one to use a pre-built solution if we need to transfer the risk to the vendor, rather than keeping it with us. The downside is that we are stuck with the features that the solution provides. This may not be a downside for most organizations, but it will certainly hurt organizations with bleeding edge technology.
In the upcoming chapters, we deal with operating the hybrid clouds that we have built, as well as the different tools that are available for service down clouds and how they might apply to a use case.
