An introduction to VMware

With over 25 years of history, VMware has evolved significantly from its origins as a stealth startup. Boasting a revenue of over $13 billion in August 2023, the Vmware product portfolio, which grew to encompass around 30 products, is best known for its hypervisors, and it is a staple in most enterprises, enabling administrators to deploy virtual machines rapidly across various standard x86-based hardware configurations.
