If you don't have any Vista or Windows 7 PCs on your network, you might consider using the Standard User Analyzer to identify conflicts when running software as a standard user. The Standard User Analyzer can also be used for applications running on Vista or Windows 7 and gives more comprehensive results than agents deployed using Application Compatibility Manager.
In the following example, despite the fact that we're looking at identifying compatibility issues in Windows XP, we're going to run the problem application and the Standard User Analyzer on Vista. When the Standard User Analyzer runs on Vista or Windows 7, more functionality is enabled that helps system administrators solve application compatibility problems and generates more comprehensive results.
