After you've created a Database Availability Group (DAG) and have added multiple database copies to the servers in your organization, you'll need to be able to move the active copies to other servers. In this recipe, you'll learn how to do this using the Exchange Management Shell.
Manually moving the active mailbox database to another server in a DAG is a process known as a database switchover. In order to activate passive mailbox database copies on another server, you'll need to use the Move-ActiveMailboxDatabase
