The field of social network analysis is one of the most sought-after research fields in the multidisciplinary worlds of sociology and computer science today. A huge number of researchers across the world are working in this field. With the advent of social networks, the way we connect with other people in the world has totally changed from the way we used to connect before. The world has become much smaller and the ties have probably grown stronger. A lot of interesting behavioral and organizational aspects come into play when one is researching social networks. A lot of the core features of Gephi will aid in the study of these social networks. Gephi Marketplace has a plugin that lets the users do even more. The plugin is called Social Network Analysis and was built by Jaroslav Kuchar from Czech Technical University in Prague.
