In this chapter, we took a look at how to create a check-in policy that is based on the current pending changes changed files count, we showed a policy warning requiring a work item be added to the check-in. We then looked at ways to install and deploy a check-in policy, and also took a look at some policies that we can download and install instead of reinventing the wheel.

Check-in policies can be overridden, as you probably know, so in the next chapter, we are going to look at server-side plugins and how we can use them to enforce certain policies so that they can't be overridden.
