Migrating a virtual machine into VxRail with Storage vMotion

In this section, we will discuss the migration method of migrating a virtual machine by using VMware Storage vMotion. In Figure 10.18, we can see that there are two vSphere clusters. One is a standard vSphere cluster that is connected to a storage array through two SAN switches. The other is a VxRail cluster with four E560 nodes. Both clusters are managed by the same vCenter Server appliance:
