Allen Driskill holds a BS in computer science from Murray State University and an MS in information science from The Ohio State University, where he has also been an instructor.

Since 1974, Allen has been a software developer in various fields and guises. He has developed business systems on a variety of small and large platforms for NCR, Burroughs, IBM, online information delivery systems, search and retrieval, hierarchical storage and management, telecommunications, imbedded systems for various handheld devices, and NLP systems for chemical information analysis.

He is currently employed by Chemical Abstracts Service in Columbus, Ohio, as a senior research scientist. In this capacity, he is currently using a large Hadoop cluster to process chemical information from a variety of massive databases.

Bernie French has over 20 years of experience in bio and cheminformatics. His interests are in the field of graph-based knowledge and analytic systems. He has developed analytic solutions within the Hadoop ecosystem using MapReduce, Cascading, and Giraph. He has also created analytic solutions using Spark and GraphX technologies. Bernie has a PhD in molecular biology from The Ohio State University and was an NIH Fellow at the The Wistar Institute, where he specialized in molecular and cellular biology. He was also an NIH hematology/oncology Fellow at The Ohio State University's Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Supreet Oberoi is the vice president of field engineering at Concurrent, Inc. Prior to this, he was the director of big data application infrastructure for American Express, where he led the development of use cases for fraud, operational risk, marketing, and privacy on big data platforms. He holds multiple patents in data engineering and has held executive and leadership positions at Real-Time Innovations, Oracle, and Microsoft.
