Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD), as the name suggests, allows maintaining changes in the Dimension table in the data warehouse. Before you read the chapter, make sure you have a complete understanding of data warehousing concepts, especially SCD. Make sure you know about SCD1, SCD2, and SCD3 types.
