In this chapter, we learned how to utilize backgrounds, foregrounds, and tiles to sculpt a visually compelling and varied level. We learned how to add tiles individually and in groups, and remove those that were accidentally placed or no longer wanted. There is still a notable absence of action in the game, however, as we have yet to add any actors into the mix. Working with actors to populate our levels will be the subject of the next chapter.
