Here we are, about halfway through our journey, which makes it a moment to look back and to look forward. Paradoxically, we have unlocked an incredible amount of game development capability, yet at the same time we have not really scratched the surface of what we can do.
You now have many options from which to get your game resources: you can work with an artist, you can get them from the Asset Store, or you can create your own simple assets. In this chapter, we will pause to bring together and shape the assets we have created so far, then in the chapters that follow, we will 'up our game', so to speak, and learn how to create more complex things than we have learned so far.
