In this chapter, we worked with zones and zone categories and learned how to create a new surface material. We also got a brief overview of all the different attributes in ArchiCAD and the attribute manager. We learned how to create an object and edit the attributes and code inside an object. We learned how to add and subtract segments from dimensions and the basics about working with text.

In the next chapter, we will get into advanced view management, sheets, and mastering graphic control to produce great drawings.
