Remixing the pen project


Remixing is the process of taking another's project and making it your own. For this recipe, we'll pretend that you downloaded (or opened in the Scratch community) the recipe you just created and are about to change it.

Keep in mind, you may have been remixing throughout this book without even knowing! If you, at any point, took a recipe from this book and then changed it around to customize it, you were remixing.

Getting ready

We're going to do some very simple remixing in this recipe. We'll aim to accomplish two things. First, we'll have the sprite return to the center of the stage upon finishing drawing the square. We'll also trigger the drawing of the square with the press of a button.

All you need to do to get started is open up the Scratch file from the previous recipe.
