Sending an Outlook message to multiple contacts


There are probably times when you'd like to send an email message to all the members of a Group or all the associates in a Company. Fortunately in ACT! you can do it pretty much with a click of a button.

Getting ready

You can send an email message only to those contacts that have an email address. To help you along, ACT! will only include those Group or Company members having email addresses; those without email addresses will not be included. Although you may be grateful that ACT! is taking such a proactive role in determining who is to receive your message, you might not be so happy to realize that several of your contacts might not be receiving your message.

Prior to sending out your message you might create a lookup of the Group or Company contacts by right-clicking the Group or Company name and selecting and then choosing Create Lookup from the contextual menu. At that juncture you can narrow your lookup to include only those contacts without...
