Time for a challenge

Challenge #1

Again, place your forklift robot and the load base at their initial positions. Place a small book of your choice on this load. Also, keep one TV/AC remote or a compass handy. Now, program your robot to do the following:

  1. Pick up the load base with the book from its initial position and drop it at point A.
  2. Place the remote control of your TV/AC or your compass on the load base and drop it at point B.
  3. Now, program your robot to return to its base.

You will need the following setup for this challenge:

Can you find out what is the maximum load that your forklift can pick up? ______ kg.

Did you know that you can only pick up and drop stable loads such as boxes with this forklift? Try lifting a water bottle with this forklift and place it somewhere else. Your bottle will fall. We will look at this in more detail in the next chapter...
