We are firm believers in the fact that the best way to learn something, especially a programming topic, is through hands-on, practical examples. So, this book will be no different. We are going to build a mobile web application for Anytown Civic Center. It will display events going on at the civic center, allow users to register for these events, and serve as a general mobile website for the civic center.
