Summary

In this chapter, you learned the principles of Azure Resource Management and the notions of resource template and resource group.

You learned how a template should look in order to deploy services and how we can make it dynamic with template programmability features.

Finally, you saw an overview of how we can organize all our templates in a website to deploy them directly to Azure Portal.

As deployment closes the development phase, with Azure resource group deployment, we end our journey with this book. Moving through the eight chapters, you should have understood the features of the many Azure services available and learned how to use them in a solution. You also learned how to move your skills from a monolithic, three-tier, SQL-based, on-premise, web-only development to a distributed, service-based, public cloud solution, backed by different data storage methods and usable from devices rather than just the browser.

Through this book, we have covered as many services as possible to...
