Capturing simple forms

We have already encountered a variation of form submission in Chapter 2, Recording Your First Test, when we submitted a login form to authenticate with the server. The form had two text fields for username and password respectively. That's a good start. Most websites requiring authentication will have a similar feel to them. HTML forms, however, span a whole range of other input types. These include checkboxes, radio buttons, select and multiselect drop-down lists, text areas, file uploads, and so on.
